At 800 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Fruita, or 18 miles northwest of Grand Junction, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Fruita, Mack, Loma, and Redlands.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 5 and 21. Colorado 139 between mile markers 1 and 6.
