At 845 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Dove Creek, or 24 miles east of Monticello, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Dove Creek.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 58 and 67. Colorado 141 between mile markers 1 and 5.
