At 254 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles east of Ignacio, or 23 miles northeast of Navajo Dam, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Pagosa Springs, Chimney Rock, Allison, Arboles, Tiffany, and Lonetree.
This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 114 and 141. Colorado 151 between mile markers 5 and 33. Colorado 172 near mile marker 1.
