At 940 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles southeast of Vernal, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Uintah County.

This includes U.S. Highway 40 in Utah between mile markers 152 and 162.
