The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM MDT Monday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

AFFECTED AREA

In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 290 Paradox Valley Forecast Area and Fire Weather Zone 292 North Fork Forecast Area.

TIMING

For the first Red Flag Warning, until 9 PM MDT this evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from 11 AM to 8 PM MDT Monday.

WINDS

Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

RELATIVE HUMIDITY

10 to 15 percent.

IMPACTS

Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning.
