The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning below 7000 feet for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from 9 AM Friday to midnight MDT Friday night. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
AFFECTED AREA
In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 203 Lower Colorado River below 7000 feet.
TIMING
For the first Red Flag Warning, from noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from 9 AM Friday to midnight MDT Friday night. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.
WINDS
South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY
4 to 9 percent.
