At 550 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Ignacio, or 17 miles southeast of Durango, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Bayfield and Ignacio.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 98 and 111. Colorado 151 between mile markers 1 and 10. Colorado 172 between mile markers 4 and 14.
