WHAT
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
WHERE
A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following counties, Archuleta, Hinsdale, La Plata and San Juan. North of Vallecito Reservoir.
WHEN
Until midnight MDT Tuesday Night.
IMPACTS
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 1259 PM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding north of Vallecito Reservoir. River gauges above the reservoir are beginning to respond upward with the recent rainfall and they should peak during the late evening to early morning hours. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
