WHAT
Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
WHERE
A portion of northwest Colorado, including the following counties, Garfield and Rio Blanco.
WHEN
Until 415 PM MDT.
IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 106 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.8 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - South Fork White River is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Eastern Rio Blanco and East Central Garfield Counties - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
