At 435 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Dove Creek, or 23 miles east of Monticello, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Dove Creek and Egnar.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 59 and 63. Colorado 141 between mile markers 1 and 13.
