Snow expected above 9000 feet. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

Northwest San Juan Mountains.

Travel could be very difficult to impossible at times, especially Friday night into Saturday morning. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
