Northbound and southbound open. Between Electra Lake Road and Little Molas Lake (5 to 21 miles south of the Silverton area) from Mile Point 48 to Mile Point 64. Passenger vehicles that are all-wheel drive (AWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) must have winter (Mountain Snowflake icon) or mud and snow (M+S or M/S) or manufacturer rated all-weather tires with adequate tread depth of at least 3/16 of an inch. Two-wheel drive (2WD) vehicles are required to have chains or an approved traction device. Slower speeds are advised.
