Eastbound and westbound open. Between County Road 888 (8 miles west of the Garfield area) and County Road 228 (near Garfield) from Mile Point 195 to Mile Point 205. Passenger vehicles that are all-wheel drive (AWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) must have winter (Mountain Snowflake icon) or mud and snow (M+S or M/S) or manufacturer rated all-weather tires with adequate tread depth of at least 3/16 of an inch. Two-wheel drive (2WD) vehicles are required to have chains or an approved traction device. Slower speeds are advised. Comment: use caution.
