Location: 7.5 miles northwest of Yampa, Colorado in Rio Blanco County near the Routt County line
The fire has spread into Routt County and onto private land
Priorities: Public and firefighter safety remain the highest priority
Persistent pockets of heat remain throughout the fire's footprint

- Public and Firefighter safety are the highest priorities
- The Crosho Fire was reported on Aug. 11, 2025
- Current fire size is 2,200 acres
- 7.5 miles northwest of Yampa, Colorado
- Located in Rio Blanco County, near the Routt County line in Colorado
- The fire remains active and has burned into Routt County and onto private land
- Growth continues on all sides of the fire
- Over 200 resources are assigned to the fire

Residents in the area bordered by county road 19 to the north, highway 131 to the east, county road 13 to the south and the crosho lake area to the west are included. updates will be sent as needed.
