WHAT
Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
WHERE
A portion of west central Colorado, including the following county, Mesa.
WHEN
Until 645 PM MDT.
IMPACTS
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 447 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.3 and 0.9 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages near... Hunter Wash, Ladder Creek and Leach Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
