What stays free, whatever you choose

  • Telling people whether you are open during a fire or a road closure, on every plan including the free one.
  • Any reservations you were already taking here before the paid tier existed. You keep them permanently, at no charge.

Neither tier buys you placement. Being featured is bought on its own, by the month or the year, and it puts you at the top of the results with a badge on your name. Advertising works the same way and buys by the week rather than the year, because a rafting outfitter spends in May and not in January. See the rates.

Questions, answered

Common questions

Does it cost anything?
Getting listed is free and stays free. So is your profile, the website badge, the events widget, free RSVP, and telling people whether you are open during a closure. The paid tier covers the day-to-day booking tools: table and capacity setup, the waitlist, text confirmations, staff accounts, job postings, and full reporting. The prices are on this page.
I was already taking reservations here. Does that change?
No. If you were running bookings here before the paid tier existed, you keep them permanently and at no charge. Nothing you are using today gets switched off.
What about during a fire or a road closure?
Posting whether you are open is free on every plan and always will be. That is the day the information matters most and a directory that cannot answer it then is worth less to everyone in it.
Who is this for?
Any local business on the Western Slope: restaurants, shops, venues, services, and event hosts.
How do I claim a business that is already listed?
Search the directory for your business and use the claim link on its page. We confirm you own it before handing over the keys.
How long does setup take?
A few minutes per tool. For the widgets you copy a short snippet and paste it onto your site, and you are done.
Where do bookings and RSVPs go?
Straight into your account on The Slope, with text and email confirmations. There is nothing for you to install.
