WHAT
Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
WHERE
A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following areas, Northwest San Juan Mountains and the Gold Mountain Burn Scar.
WHEN
Until 8 PM MDT this evening.
IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in debris flows as well as flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Heavy rainfall over the last few days has saturated soils across the San Juan Mountains. More heavy rain is expected again today increasing the risk for flash flooding across the watch area. This also includes the Gold Mountain Burn Scar. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
