At 122 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles north of Palisade, or 14 miles northeast of Grand Junction, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... De Beque.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 64 and 68.
