Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
WHERE
A portion of southwest Colorado, including the following county, La Plata.
WHEN
Until 1145 PM MDT.
IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 844 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.3 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Durango, Hermosa, Trimble and Rockwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
