Every year, in Fruita, Colorado, people gather to remember Mike the Headless Chicken, a strange defiance of nature in which one brave chicken refused to die and instead became a legend.This year… we add stand-up comedy to the experiment.This is no regular comedy show; it’s the official stand-up event of the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival.Alex Velluto will be donning the mantle of Mike in the official Mike the Headless Chicken mascot outfit throughout the weekend and then headlining the festival’s featured comedy show at the historic Cavalcade Theater.Alex Velluto's other honors include performing multiple times at the Grand Ole Opry. He recently appeared on Nate Bargatze’s “The Showcase” series and has appeared on several acclaimed Dry Bar Comedy specials, including his latest, The Big Gulp Kid.Join us for a one-of-a-kind night where history, legend, and laughter collide in the most unexpected way.
