An Evening With Dr. Rocket (acoustic) @ Triple Play Records

Dr. Rocket is a Seattle-based, alt-rock project by Nick Carver, blending home-recording charm with sharp, yet playful, songwriting. His style is often hard to pin down — drifting from punk-infused, lo-fi rock (“Everybody Runs Away” & “I Can’t Seem To Win”), to old-school country crooning (“Boat Don’t Float” & “Company”), to avant-garde, psych oddity (“I Am A Bird” and “Diamonds”). Dr. Rocket has garnered airplay from KEXP’s DJ Shannon, as well as Space 101.1’s Mitch Etter, and has been featured by publications such as Obscure Sound, Iggy Magazine, American Pancake, The Scope Of, and more. Dr. Rocket’s new album, Buoy, dropped on April 18th 2025, and can be streamed everywhere https://www.drrocketmusic.com/
