Annie in the Water

Annie in the Water is Americana indie rock grown out of upstate New York from the roots which consists of a powerful five-piece with Guitars (Bradley Hester and Michael Lashomb), bass (Chris Meier), drums (Josh West), keyboards/synthesizers (Matt Richards) and multiple-part vocal harmonies. Because the band is capable of playing almost any genre, listeners may feel a vast array of emotions as the songwriting traverses rock, funk, reggae, folk, bluegrass, dance-beat and more. The rhythm section creates a driving landscape over which the guitars and synthesizers paint beautiful melodies; while there is an abundance of intentional lyrics, there is also a healthy serving of tastefully exploratory improvisation to send everyone to the moon and back.
