BALLET 3/4 Wednesday in Montrose with Miss Pang - JULY

Ages 10 and up with prior dance experience, or with instructor approval. In this year-round class students will use the barre, learn turns and leaps, and continue to develop a French ballet vocabulary. This is a class for students with prior ballet experience. Students should be able to maintain correct posture and turnout throughout the entire class. Class emphasis is on the enjoyment of dance within the respect and discipline of classical ballet training. Dancers at this level going on pointe are expected to attend ballet at least twice a week according to the ABT National Training Curriculum. Weehawken Dance is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® NATIONAL TRAINING CURRICULUM, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
