Free Concert, 4th of July Swag, Parade, Montrose Farmers Market, Event Vendors, And More!

The City of Montrose invites you to spend your holiday celebrating Independence Day the right way as we mark the 250th/150th anniversaries of the United States of America and Colorado. The theme for our celebration and parade this year will be Our Heritage, happening on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Heritage was chosen as the theme to honor the many stories, traditions, and backgrounds that make our community unique. Heritage means something different to everyone. It may be cultural roots, family traditions, or a shared love for where we live. This theme invites each of us to reflect on where we come from and to celebrate our shared connections.

Event Schedule

July 3

• 9:00 am – Pancake breakfast at the Welcome Home Alliance for Veterans

July 4 (all activities except the market & parade will be at the Montrose Rotary Amphitheater)

• 9:00 am – The Montrose Farmers Market will open
• 10:00 am – 4th of July Parade begins
• 11:00 am – Food truck village and beer garden will open
• 12:00 pm – Family fun activities begin
• 5:45 pm – National anthem will begin
• 6:00 pm – Montrose Summer Music Series first performance begins – Coral Skye & the Soul Syndicate
• 7:00 pm – Intermission
• 7:30 pm – Montrose Summer Music Series headlining performance begins – The Wilder Blue
• 8:30 pm – Last call for food and drinks
• 9:40 pm – Zambelli firework performance begins
