Join us Saturday, September 5th, downtown Montrose at the corner of East Main and Uncompahgre – across from the Farmers Market.

This historic building once served as the town’s first mercantile. Explore the beautiful space and visit with local artists and artisans while you shop this curated market of their amazing work.

Watch artists painting in the window. Enjoy a Taste of Italy with food by Endless Pastabilities and artwork by Kathryn Burke. More food and drink inside and outside, and if the city permits, live music and alpaca petting (with Flying Iron Alpaca Ranch) on Uncompahgre Ave.

Neighborhood activities and store discounts–this is a block party. The Artisans Market (and Fair) is the second in what we plan to make a regular event, organized by Debra Walker to bring community and art together. San Juan Publishing is assisting with marketing and will be there with some of our award-winning books, Kate Burke’s original art, and Gia Pirelli’s hand-crafted jewelry.

Everyone is welcome, although children under 12 must be with an adult and supervised. No pets allowed.
