Public Session On License Plate Readers

Montrose residents will have an opportunity next week to learn more about the Police Department’s use of automated license plate readers—and to ask the department questions about the technology.

Police Chief Blaine Hall will lead the public information session, which will focus on how the Montrose Police Department uses Flock Safety License Plate Reader technology, commonly known as LPRs, to generate investigative leads and help solve crimes.
