That’s the headline event for Carbondale this week. It happens Tuesday at 6 p.m.

If you’re in the Roaring Fork Valley, mark your calendar. The Garfield County Libraries have packed the schedule for Sept. 21–27. There’s something for every age group and interest.

The Wanner appearance is the big draw. But the rest of the week offers plenty of options.

Monday kicks off with craft sessions. Parachute hosts "Craftable Me" at 11:30 a.m. Zonal runs its Chess and Board Game Club at 2 p.m. Silt holds its "Club de Bolsitas Rojas" at 10:30 a.m. Carbondale starts its week with the "In Stitches Knitting Club" at 1:30 p.m. and "English in Action: Open Hours" at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday brings storytimes across the valley. Parachute hosts its "Back to Reality Book Club" at 5 p.m. Silt offers "Storytime at the Silt Historical Park" at 9:30 a.m. and "Happily Ever After Dark" at 6 p.m. New Castle and Glenwood Springs both hold storytimes in the morning. Glenwood Springs also adds "Mah Jongg" at 1:30 p.m., "Club de Abuelitos" at 4 p.m., and "Let’s Chat Mental Health" at 5 p.m. Carbondale adds "Toddler Storytime" at 10:30 a.m., "Baby Storytime" at 11:30 a.m., and the Wanner event at 6 p.m.

Wednesday features workforce and language programs. Parachute holds storytime at 10:30 a.m. Rifle hosts "Workforce Center in Your Library" at 10 a.m. and "English/Spanish Conversation" at 6:45 p.m. New Castle adds "Un Abrazo Para el Alma" at 7 p.m. Glenwood Springs offers "Club de Bolsitas Rojas" at 10:30 a.m., "SPARK: PAWS to Read" at 2:30 p.m., and "Tai Chi at the Library" at 5:30 p.m. Carbondale adds "Club de Bolsitas Rojas" at 10 a.m., "SPARK" at 2 p.m., and "CMC Open Office Hours" at 4 p.m.

Thursday focuses on health and writing. Parachute holds "Club de Bolsitas Rojas" at 10:30 a.m. Rifle adds storytime at 11 a.m. Silt hosts "Golden Years Social" at 1 p.m. Glenwood Springs offers "Meditation for Members of 12 Step Recovery Programs" at 9 a.m., "Get the Wiggles Out" at 10 a.m., and "Writing Workshops" at 5 p.m. Carbondale adds "Get the Wiggles Out" at 10:30 a.m., "Geri-Fit: Strength Training for Older Adults" at 12:30 p.m., and "Tech Club with the Aspen Science Center" at 3:45 p.m.

Friday wraps the week with preschool activities. Parachute hosts "Baby & Me Storytime" at 10:30 a.m. Rifle adds "Club de Bolsitas Rojas" at noon and "SPARK" at 1:30 p.m. Silt offers "Shake Your Sillies Out" at 10 a.m. and "Meal Monkey" at 11:30 a.m. New Castle adds "Club de Bolsitas Rojas" at 10 a.m. and "SPARK" at noon. Carbondale adds "Preschool Storytime" at 10:30 a.m.

Saturday ends the week with games and history. Parachute hosts "Fall Crafternoons" at 2 p.m. Silt offers "Pioneering for the Modern Day" at 1 p.m. Glenwood Springs adds "Tai Chi at the Library" at 9:30 a.m. and "Dungeons and Dragons: Storm King’s Thunder" at 2 p.m. Carbondale adds "Bilingual Storytime" at 10:30 a.m. Rifle hosts "Rifle’s Adventure Guild" at 1 p.m. Carbondale also adds "Dungeons and Dragons: Call of the Netherdeep" at 2 p.m.
