B.ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT: BALLOT ORDER LOT DRAW – The Town of
Palisade
will hold an open lot draw for how Trustee candidates' names will appear on the
official election ballot (in accordance with C.R.S. § 31-10-902) on Thursday, February
5, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Town Hall (175 E 3
rd
Street). This process is open to the candidates,
candidate representatives, and the general public.
C.ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT: CANDIDATE FORUM – The Palisade Chamber of
Commerce is hosting the 2026 Board of Trustees Candidate Forum on Thursday,
February 26,
2026, at the Palisade High School auditorium (3679 G Road) at 6:00 pm.
All Town of Palisade voters are encouraged to attend to learn more about the candidates
running for office.

The Consent Agenda is intended to allow the Board to spend its time on more complex items.
These items are generally perceived as non-controversial and can be approved by a single
motion. The public or any Board Member may ask that an item be removed from the Consent
Agenda for individual consideration.

IX.NEW BUSINESS
A.ORDINANCE 2026-02 Limiting Court Penalties
The Board of Trustees will consider Ordinance 2026-02, which limits Municipal Court
maximum penalties to amounts not exceeding the maximum violation penalties listed in
the Colorado Revised Statutes. This Ordinance will bring the Town of Palisade into
compliance with Colorado Supreme Court Ruling.

B.Highway 6 Access to TerraVin Cellars Land Lease
The Board of Trustees will consider directing the Town Manager to sign a lease
agreement with TerraVin Cellars to provide access off Highway 6 through Town-owned
property.

sign a lease agreement with TerraVin Cellars giving access to his property
through town-owned property.

your name and address. Neither the Board of Trustees nor staff will respond to comments at this
time. The Board may direct staff to look into specific comments to bring back as an Agenda item
at a future meeting; however, the Board reserves the right to clarify information from comments
that are factually incorrect.
All emails sent to the Town Clerk for public comment will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees.
Any member of the public who wishes to have a statement or email read to the Board of Trustees
is required to appear in person and make said statements to the Board directly.
