2026 Coordinated Election
On November 3, 2026, the City of Montrose, Colorado, will hold a special, coordinated municipal election, at which proposed amendments to the Charter of the City of Montrose will be referred to the voters.
The proposed Charter amendments, approved for placement on the November ballot by the Montrose City Council at its meeting on Tuesday, September 1, have been compiled into a single document for careful review by voters. This document contains the current, redlined, and post-election versions (if the amendments are approved by voters) of each affected section of the Charter. This document also contains the ballot questions.
