Grand Junction, CO – On August 31, 2026, at approximately 8:40 a.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department took a report of a stolen vehicle that occurred in the 400 block of Pitkin Avenue.
The reporting party stated an unknown female stole a vehicle off his property and provided police with video footage of the incident.
At approximately 4:35 p.m. officers were patrolling the area of S 3rd Street and South Avenue, when they observed the stolen vehicle being driven by a female matching the description of the suspect. Officers initiated a high-risk vehicle stop and took the suspect into custody without incident.
49-year-old Kellie Lombardo was arrested and transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility where she was booked on the following charges:
3rd Degree Motor Vehicle Theft
1st Degree Criminal Trespass Auto with Intent to Commit Crime
3rd Degree Burglary
Criminal Mischief
Driving with Revoked License – Aggravated
