II. 2027 Annual Budget, Overview and Preparation
Background: This work session will provide the City Council with an overview of the
annual budget process and development timeline. Departments will highlight recent
successes, discuss preliminary operational and strategic imperatives moving forward,
and identify emerging needs. The session will also provide an opportunity for Council
to provide open dialogue regarding priorities, concerns, and areas requiring additional
focus as staff prepares the proposed budget.
