The City of Grand Junction is beginning its 2027 budget process, and residents can follow along as City Council reviews the City Manager's Recommended Budget over the coming weeks.
The recommended budget is the result of a multi-month process involving every City department. It outlines how the City plans to deliver services, programs, and projects in 2027. The City's budget year runs Jan. 1 through Dec. 31.
The process includes four public sessions. At two City Council workshops, staff will walk through the recommended budget and supporting documents, and Council members will have the chance to ask questions and discuss. Two public presentations and hearings will follow during regular City Council meetings. Public comment is accepted during these meetings.
