City of Aspen to host Community Picnic on Oct. 3
Aspen, CO- The city of Aspen will host its annual Community Picnic on Oct. 3 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Aspen Historical Society, 620 West Bleeker St.
Complimentary food from Slow Groovin’ BBQ will be available for the first 750 attendees, as well as free face painting by KidToons. This event is designed to bring the community together and celebrate the end of the summer season.
The Aspen Historical Society’s Wheeler Stallard Museum will also be open for free self-guided tours of their latest installation, Aspen in Excess, The 1980’s.
The city encourages all community members to walk, bike, or carpool to avoid personal vehicle trips. Leashed dogs are welcome.
