The City of Fruita is accepting public comments on its draft Metropolitan District policy and model service plan through the end of the month.
Over the past year, the City of Fruita has been working on drafting a policy for Metropolitan Districts in Fruita to facilitate economic development. For the next month, we will be accepting comments from local groups on the draft policy and model service plan. Please submit comments to [email protected], and the draft policies are below.

The Fruita City Council will hold a regular meeting on September 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM to review the council packet and agenda documents.
The Fruita Tourism Advisory Council will meet on August 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. to discuss public comment, a Barnhart Communications update, and general staff reports.
The City of Fruita Council will hold a workshop meeting on August 25, 2026, to review documents.
