If you are unable to find a camping spot in one of the local campgrounds, the Montrose County Fairgrounds & Event Center has dry camping spaces for a limited period of time. There is NO RV dump station at the Montrose County Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds is located at 1036 N 7th Ave Montrose, CO 81401. You may enter the Fairgrounds via either the gates on San Juan Avenue Bypass or N 2nd Street. Please refer to the map for the dry camping location on fairgrounds property.
If you are traveling with animals they must be kept on a leash when outside at the Fairgrounds. DO NOT approach any other animals you encounter on the Fairgrounds.
