Durango, CO: **Durango runs on rivers, rain, snowmelt, and a whole lot of community care. The City of Durango is developing an Integrated Water Efficiency and Shortage Response Plan to help our community use water wisely, prepare for dry times, and make sure future strategies reflect local priorities.

Residents, business owners, students, workers, and anyone with a connection to Durango are invited to take a short community survey. The survey asks about water efficiency, current water-saving practices, water shortage restrictions, and what approaches would feel fair and effective if the city needed to reduce water use during a shortage.

Most people can complete the survey in about 10–15 minutes. Your feedback will help shape goals, guiding principles, programs, and investments for Durango’s water future. The survey closes October 19, so don’t let this opportunity go down the drain—visit the Durango Engage page to share your thoughts.
