Power Plant Road closure extended to through traffic Oct. 12-14
**Aspen, CO — **The Power Plant Road closure, from Cemetery Lane to 8th Street, has been extended. Power Plant Road will be closed to through traffic Oct. 12-14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to allow crews to install a new water service line. Local access will remain available during the closure, but through traffic will not be permitted in the work area. Drivers should plan for delays and use an alternate route when possible.
Crews will be able to quickly reopen the road if an emergency requires access.
The closure is expected to be in place during the scheduled work hours each day, with the road reopening to through traffic outside of those hours.
