At a glance

The City of Glenwood Springs seeks public input on curbside composting, Centennial Park improvements, construction season feedback, and the RFTA Master Plan via surveys due in November 2026.

Your voice matters! Current survey topics are: Curbside Composting, Future of Centennial Park, End of Construction Season, and RFTA Master Plan!

Centennial Park Updates + Community Input Requested

The City is planning practical improvements to make Centennial Park safer and more welcoming. For safety reasons, the existing fence will be removed this fall. The City is working with the original contributors of the memorial garden to reincorporate it into Centennial Park’s new vision.

Because Centennial Park is small and available funding is limited, the initial concept focuses on achievable improvements. Your feedback will help City Council and Parks and Recreation determine how these elements can best serve the community. Share your perspective in a brief survey before November 10, 2026. | Take the Survey

Curbside Composting Interest Survey

The City is exploring adding curbside composting to its Pay As You Throw (PAYT) trash and recycling program. Your input will help us determine whether keeping food waste out of trash bins would meaningfully reduce bear attractants, and whether households think it's worth the cost.

Composting could also extend the life of the South Canyon Landfill, helping keep disposal costs down, and reduce future methane emissions.

End of Construction Season Survey

City council and staff value transparent communication, continuous improvement, and customer service, so we want to hear how we can improve during next year’s construction season. If you were a project neighbor or passed through one of the work areas recently, we'd love to hear from you.
