Rusty Catlin took 1st place in the Motorgrader Competition, Trey Svensnon claimed 1st place in the Loader Competition, and Eric Beaver brought home 3rd place in the Loader Competition. Steven Shipley took 1st place in the Truck Competition.
But the team wasn’t content to stop there. Every Montrose County Road & Bridge employee who participated entered at least two Equipment Roadeo events, while some of our more competitive crew members took on four or even five events. Apparently, two events just weren’t enough of a challenge!
The Truck Competition was another strong showing for Montrose County, with our team taking 6 of the top 10 spots and putting their technical backing and docking skills to the test.
There’s clearly no shortage of skill, experience and competitive spirit in this crew. We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a talented Road & Bridge team representing Montrose County, and we couldn’t be more proud of their performance.
Congratulations to the entire team! You showed up, put your skills to work and brought home some hardware. We’ll gladly make room on that wall!
