About
Aggressive Discipline is a 5.11c/d sport climb located on the Left Side of Dry Creek Crag, near Montrose, Colorado. The route is approximately 40 feet high and features rock-hard Dakota patina. The climb begins with an immediate start, followed by good but unremarkable holds leading to the second bolt. After clipping the second bolt, the route transitions into a thin, crimpy boulder problem before finishing with big moves to good holds at the chains. The route shares its anchors with a 5.9 route to the left. Access is via a 4WD road that is about one mile long, leading to the top of the canyon rim above the climbing area. Drivers should go right at the first fork and left at the second. Parking is available. The area is pet friendly. Dry Creek Crag is a local favorite located about 15 miles west of Montrose, characterized by sandstone cliffs and a remote desert feel.
