The Animas Mountain Trail Connector is a moderate mountain biking route that spans a distance of approximately 6 miles, with an elevation gain of around 1,400 feet. The trail conditions vary, with a mix of smooth singletrack and more rugged sections with rocks and roots. From April through October, riders can expect a range of scenery, including wooded areas and open meadows, with notable views of the surrounding mountains. Parking is available at the trailhead, and pets are allowed to accompany riders on this pet-friendly route.
