Aspen Highlands is a ski area in Aspen, Colorado, operated by the Aspen Skiing Company. The resort sits at a base elevation of 8,080 feet and a summit of 12,392 feet, with a vertical drop of 3,638 feet. It offers 1,010 acres of skiable terrain across 118 trails. The difficulty profile is moderate, consisting of 23 intermediate, 12 advanced, and 65 expert trails, with zero mapped beginner trails. The mountain features five lifts, including three high-speed quad chairs and two triple chairs. Key terrain includes the Highland Bowl, accessible via a hike-to option or the High Temerity lift. Other notable features are the Thunderbowl, known for steep intermediate runs and ski competitions, and expert-only chutes like Lower Stein. Amenities include the Cloud Nine Bistro at the summit of the Cloud Nine lift, offering views of the Maroon Bells. The Mid-Mountain area contains the Merry-Go-Round restaurant. Parking is available at the base, and shuttle reservations are accepted from the Maroon Bells Welcome Center located on-site.
