Atomic Tick Fever is a bouldering area located on the west side of The Hone Stone near Crested Butte, Colorado. Situated at an elevation of 8,709 feet, the site features large boulders ranging from 15 to 16 feet in height. The climbing here is graded as moderate, making it suitable for climbers with some experience. Routes typically utilize standing or sit starts on center crimps and slopers, requiring one to two crash pads and spotters rather than ropes. Access requires entering from the north side, as the southern entrance crosses private property. Parking is available for visitors, and pets are allowed on site. The area is accessible year-round, though winter conditions may bring snow and ice to the rocks. Climbers can expect to spend approximately four hours completing the routes.
