Beaver Creek Resort is a ski area located near Glenwood Springs on Colorado’s Western Slope. The resort operates from November through April, with typical ski days lasting about eight hours. The base elevation is 8,081 feet, and the mountain reaches an elevation of 11,440 feet. Skiers have access to approximately 2,082 acres of terrain with a vertical drop of roughly 3,340 feet. The resort features 150 marked runs and 23 lifts distributed across three distinct base areas. The trail distribution is approximately 28 percent beginner, 42 percent intermediate, and 39 percent expert. Four terrain parks are available for freestyle skiing. Beaver Creek is known for well-maintained, groomed runs and offers ski instruction ranging from small groups to private lessons. Practical amenities include parking, on-site rentals, restrooms, and fine dining options. Live webcams provide real-time updates on snow conditions and lift line status. The resort hosts World Cup races and offers various lodging packages, including discounts for booking in advance.
