The trailhead is located at Carbon Junction, accessible by turning onto Dominguez Drive toward the Exxon and continuing onto the dirt frontage road. Parking is available at the trailhead. The trail is open year-round, though conditions vary with seasons, including potential snow and ice in winter. Restrooms are available at the trailhead, and pets are permitted.
