Black Tongue is a challenging rock climbing destination situated near Glenwood Springs, CO, at an elevation of 8204 feet. The climbing routes are difficult, requiring a high level of skill and physical fitness. Climbers can expect a committing 4-hour outing, with parking available at the base of the climb. The area is pet-friendly, and climbing is possible year-round, from January through December, although winter conditions may require additional precautions and equipment.
