The BLM North Fruita Campground is a developed camping site in Loma, Colorado, situated at 5,242 feet elevation. It serves as a hub for mountain biking within the North Fruita Desert, offering direct access to the 18 Road trail system and proximity to the Kokopelli Trail. The facility consists of two units, Upper and Lower, containing a total of 111 campsites. Sites feature fire rings, concrete picnic tables, and graveled parking spaces. The Lower Campground includes constructed 12 by 12 foot tent pads, while the Upper unit relies on ground suitable for tents. Vault toilets are available within walking distance of all sites. There is no water supply at the campground, and pets are permitted. The access road consists of broken asphalt and washboard gravel. Operating seasonally from May through September, the site offers moderate difficulty activities suitable for a typical two-hour stay. Nearby amenities include food and lodging in the City of Fruita.
