Breeder's Cup is a 5.10+ YDS PG13 trad, 200 ft (61 m), 2 pitches located in Estes Park Valley > Big Thompson Ca > Palisade Mountain > Horseshead. This is a 2-pitch route. First ascent by Ross Swanson & George Bracksieck, 12/14/2002. Tom Adamson, M. Carnes?. Breeder's Cup is the direct start in the obvious plumb line slot beneath the chimney that forms the second pitch of Eagle's Beak. We climbed this as a fabulous direct link up that follows P1 Breeder's Cup, P2 Eagle's Beak, P2/3 Neighsayer to the top of the formation. There are also new bolted anchors at the very top of the formation as of 9/1/11 which can be used to rap to the ground rather than walking off to the east allowing more time to climb. Protection: This is the left line directly beneath the horse head.
