Cardinal Sin is a difficult sport climbing route located in Rifle Mountain Park, just west of Rifle, Colorado. The route is situated on limestone from the Leadville formation, which features large flat holds, pockets, crimps, and pinches. The climb is generally long and complex, requiring endurance. Parking is available on-site, and the area is pet-friendly. Climbers should expect fairly crowded conditions on weekends between May and September. While many routes in the park are rated 5.12 and higher, Cardinal Sin fits within this difficult category.
