Cello is an 80-foot traditional rock climbing route located in the Telluride area of Western Colorado. Situated on the left wall near the mouth of a canyon, the route follows a left-facing corner system to the left of the Javelin. The start is overhanging and features a crux requiring sidepulls, underclings, and jams. Climbers must pull a bulge using a finger crack before continuing up the corner to a bolt anchor. The route shares bolt anchors with Javelin, which is rated 5.11a. Protection consists of small rock (SR) and extra finger-sized cams, with gear placement at the start described as difficult. The first ascent was completed by Vandiver and Robbins in 1978. Cello is rated difficult and sits at an elevation of 11,544 feet. Parking is available, and the route is pet friendly.
